Simpson Booth is a recruitment and HR outsourcing company that started with a focus on the energy sector. They approached us after two years in business to reposition their brand for growth and raise visibility among their target clients.

To move Simpson Booth from promising start-up to a trusted specialist with credibility and cut-through in the energy sector—and to prepare the brand for future expansion into new markets and service areas.

Working with a brand consultant, we developed the positioning ‘Simply better people solutions’ to reflect their straightforward, effective offer. I created a zen-like brand identity centred on calm and simplicity – using circular forms, images of still seas and a distinctive emerald palette. A custom set of graphics and infographics expanded the system across service lines. The identity later extended into a sister brand, Berkeley Booth.

The rebrand raised Simpson Booth’s profile and helped secure a stronger foothold in energy recruitment. As they grew, the visual system scaled—supporting new services and enabling cross-selling through brand alignment with sister brand Berkeley Booth.
