Karen Millen is a leading international fashion house. After 30 years of operating under a brand developed in the 1980s, they made the decision to change.

The project involved the Managing Director of October Sun working with Karen Millen on their brand strategy - customer profiling, visual benchmarking and messaging - leading to an overhaul of their brand on and off line.

My role on the project was to define the brand's expression. I developed the look and feel and wrote their brand guidelines. I designed corporate stationery, gift boxes and tags, before moving onto campaign and advertising work – which featured photography by David Bailey. This involved a campaign brochure and advertising in major glossy magazines as well as outdoor media (billboards, buses, subways, taxis) and online digital ads.

What the MD says

“Jenny can take an idea and make it better; she can turn a brief into something startling, has a lovely aesthetic and is bright and articulate. Technically Jenny is brilliant and so can work from idea to implementation through to the most complex art work. She is the complete package and would be a huge asset to any organisation and I highly recommend her.”
