Astraea Group was established by James Ramsden QC, a leading barrister who set up a niche chambers, focusing on commercial litigation and regulation. Rather uniquely, Astraea Group helps clients to navigate the system to access the best service provider for them, whilst delivering services to the highest standard with the right team every time.

The new brand needed to be modern and independent, alongside a website that supported them for launch and through their future business expansion strategy.

Working with a brand consultant, together we undertook market research and developed a name, a brand platform, key messaging, the visual identity, website design (& build), and various print applications. 

The graphic idea for the brand was expressed through an icon made from the letter ‘A’ – which reflected the company’s approach to being client focussed. In application the strands form cross hairs and can be used to focus on detail within imagery, or as a graphic language alongside typography.

Photography is sharply focussed or closely cropped, and a distinctive muted palette was chosen, with copper foil print finishing used sparingly to elevate certain pieces.
