Communications

The London Playing Fields Foundation is the capital’s leading body for the protection, provision and promotion of playing fields in London.

The LPFF needed to professionalise their communications, bringing a new awareness to their cause necessary for corporate fundraising. The logo is a metaphor for grey buildings encroaching on a green space and it was set on a diagonal to feel sporty.

I developed the brand expression and used a bright palette to help make it feel engaging and active. I then brought it to life through a range of on and offline channels.

Subsequent projects I have designed are ‘Coping Through Football’ – which helps people with long-term mental health problems get their lives back on track, and ‘Green Hearts’ which makes playing fields more relevant to the local community by encouraging greater use for informal walking and jogging. I have designed their logos, brochures, pop-up stands and signage.

What the client says

“London Playing Fields Foundation has benefitted from Jenny Spratt’s extensive experience and specialist skills for a number of years as the vibrant production of a whole series of Annual Reviews, Research Reports and major fundraising event brochures testify.

She has also been the design brains behind the distinctive branding of a number of our very successful social inclusion projects such as Green Hearts and Coping Through Football. Now, thanks to Jenny we now have a consistent house identity and style which sets us apart. Over the years we have found Jenny’s work to be of the highest quality and she is always unfailingly professional, accommodating and reliable.”
